
Quolls used to be widespread throughout Australia and New Guinea and West Papua but have been badly effected by habitat loss.
They can still be found in Tasmania , Higher areas of Victoria and NSW especially amongst Granite outcrops, Northern Queensland near The Daintree and Atherton tablelands ,The Flinders Ranges in S.A, parts of SW Australia and the Kimberlies , Islands of NT and many parts of New Guinea and West Papua .
